Super User gim Posted November 20, 2024 Super User Posted November 20, 2024 This was my final morning in the deer stand last week. Absurdly thick fog when legal shooting time was approaching. It took until almost 10am for it to completely burn off. 8 Quote

Global Moderator 12poundbass Posted November 21, 2024 Global Moderator Posted November 21, 2024 Today, my family and I had the pleasure of attending the graduation ceremony of the 147th Michigan State Police recruitment class which included our niece’s future husband. We’re pretty proud of that kid. 14 Quote

Global Moderator 12poundbass Posted November 22, 2024 Global Moderator Posted November 22, 2024 @gimruis no doubt about it. Especially since he’s been a part of our family for around seven years and knowing how he grew up. He broke his family cycle and, he’s been absolutely great to our niece. 5 Quote

Super User gim Posted December 5, 2024 Super User Posted December 5, 2024 This was an interesting one. On my way to an investigation Wed morning, I passed this and thought "what the **** " was that. Well later in the day, on my way back, I knew it was coming and pulled over to take a closer look. Its a larger than lifesized skeleton wearing a blaze orage shirt, holding a gun, and riding on the back of an old school ford van that's being driven by a dog. I may never come across something so bizarre in my life again. 1 8 Quote

BassResource.com Administrator Glenn Posted December 6, 2024 Author BassResource.com Administrator Posted December 6, 2024 What? You mean you don't have those in your neighborhood? And here I thought that was normal. 2 Quote
Super User GreenPig Posted December 9, 2024 Super User Posted December 9, 2024 I don't anger easily but the power company turn the power off to my electric fence while cutting limbs and clearing the powerline. When finished they failed to turn it back on, allowing our cows to destroy a $1,000 of hay and tear the fence down(8 hour repair). I'm glad they were not still around when I finally figure out the power failure, because I was mad enough to chokeslam the idiots. 2 Quote

It was in July on a really hot day. They failed to turn it back on when they were done, which obviously prevented everyone from using their AC. I called them a few hours later to tell them to turn it back on and they’re response was “oh, sorry.” 1 Quote
