Yesterday was spent retrieving the items from mom's estate either specifically left to me, or that I'd claimed from a list. Couple of them were framed prints from my Grand-Uncle...let's see if @A-Jay can fully identify them (I know what they are, just wondering if he does.)

What we have here is a really dumb cat for getting into Hank’s breakfast. We also have a really good dog for not killing the really dumb cat. 😁

That cat doesn’t have a mean bone in his body. He thinks he’s a dog.

We have a cat like that and at 30lbs he's the size of a small dog.

Crazy. That body of water below & behind them would be my targeted area.

Have you taught him to retrieve?

I guy I worked with back in the day taught his cat to retrieve. When he told me about it I said “BS”, and he had his wife get ball of aluminum foil. She gave it to me, I was told to throw it and say “fetch”. And the cat chased that ball of aluminum foil down, picked it up and walked over and dropped it at my feet. Never saw anything like it since and wouldn’t have thought it was possible.

Could not agree with you more!!  NOPE!!

Getting up there is one thing...getting back down...something completely different...and probably more dangerous.

Woke up to this guy looking for something to eat in the kitchen a few days ago.  Quickly re-homed to the nearby woods.  But, I'm agonizing over whether to mention it to my wife.  She will fully acknowledge that rat snakes are harmless.....and has even dispatched one off the deck.  But inside is going to be a different reaction.... which do i want: freaking out and fearing more inside the house?  Or a bit of increased awareness...vigilance?

Great photos and stories, guys. All out of reactions. Sorry. Here are my paddling partners on the Thames River, well west of London obviously.

Under no circumstances would I mention it to my wife. If I were to tell her….
