Saturday on our way to checking out the Jamestown ND resevoir and dam we stopped by the largest buffalo in the world. I last stood next to him in 1968, this was the wifes first time seeing the buffalo.

Passed through the town of Lamoure ND on our saturday excursion, this town died years ago but there is a lowly bait shop connected to the old church for anglers to buy some bait to fish the James river dam about 1 mile away.

Sad to see these towns that originated in the 1800"s die away, the farmers wernt enough to keep the Cenex farmers union and oil supply store open and this is all farm land around here.

last saturday after the big buffalo wife and i finally settled down to fish. This is Ransome park in ND, the dam is running slow and the river is not covering half the channel, we still caught our walleye dinner.

That sounds like a dangerous job, especially considering how many people text and drive.

It certainly has it's dangers. Sharing the road with idiots is one of the biggest. Texting while driving should carry the same penalty as DUI in my opinion. This is a sign you shouldn't tailgate me or cut me off.

It's amazing how many people are oblivious to it. There's around 8,000 gallons of liquid that's easier to ignite than gasoline in my trailer when I'm loaded, and it's full of combustible vapors when I'm empty. 

 It pays pretty well though, with a killer retirement package, and I work four 12's. Come January of 26, I'll have more days off per year than work days.

I agree. It’s actually been on the books here in MN for years already as a moving traffic violation. A phone cannot be used while driving if it requires “holding” the phone. A headset or hands free device has to be used.

 

But it’s almost completely unenforceable because they have to catch someone right in the act. The number of people I see using their phone while driving is still very high. It’s rampant.

Stayed at the Kalahari Resort in Wisconsin Dells with my family for a short 3 day mini vacation. Hit up the Tom Foolery’s Amusement Park and the Kalahari Waterpark during the stay. I almost lost my trunks going down the Screamin’ Hyena vertical drop water slide.

Dolly is not a "scoper".  She goes past the screen and scans the water with her K9 eyes.   Also notice, she just had a hair cut so she is in compliance with the haircut police.
