I find that to be really beautiful as long as I'm not living in it.

Saw on the news that a guy got struck by lightning, and a nearby surveilance camera caught it on tape.  I'm like "I see him in the bolt!"  So I took a pic of the TV screen.

Had to convince the old girl to come

inside. She loves the snow. I guess that’s the American Eskimo part she has.

She would stay outside in the snow all day if I let her. 14 years old and still going strong. Was just given a clean bill of health at the vet, too.

Out checking water clarities on the local reservoirs since I decided not to take the boat out given the 30 mph winds and falling temperatures. Worst lake only had 6” of vis. - the best were closer to 20” plus some 10 days after our 4” deluge. More on the way later next week.

Nice to see someone still knows how to use a secchi disk, Brian.

And still the best way to standardize clarity measurements across lakes without bias   Great way to key in on presentation options and variables.

That’s what I use.  I can’t pronounce the name but I know how to use it. 😆

What's the difference between 4' of clarity to 6' of clarity? 2 feet, and don't have to change tactics lol.

The low yesterday morning was 14, with a high of 31.  It was windy too.  I had some other things to do so I didn't go fishing.   The low today was 11,  but the high was 39.  It wasn't windy.  I was going to go, but still had stuff to do.   I changed oil in my truck,  and (gasp) went and got a haircut.  The haircut police @gimruis says I'll catch 33% more Bass.

I'm of the opposite opinion...cutting your hair is like Samson, you lose your catching power.

Lol I think someone else actually coined that phrase but it definitely falls within the haircut initiative.

Looks like your 2024 attainable goal is shot.  Didn't even make a month huh

A bit eerie out on the water today. Only boat on the lake when the fog rolled in heavy, eventually requiring GPS to make it back to the ramp.
