Went on a walk with the kiddo and the dog this afternoon around the lake near our house.  There is a walking bridge that goes across part of the lake near some tall reeds and a pair of adult trumpeter swans have 4 young ones there.  I don't think I've ever been this close to swans.  They are a lot bigger than I expected.  Their necks are twice as long as a Canada goose.

What kind of stand is it? I don’t even see a place to sit.

I have no clue. He found it on FB market place and used his birthday money to buy it. There is a seat there, it’s really small. It is flipped up so there’s more standing room.

Hence, why it's called a stand.

Ball python? Probably the most docile snake alive.

@slonezp yessir. That's Julius Squeezer.

I had a ball python and a red tailed boa many years ago. The python was never aggressive towards me. The boa is the reason I got rid of both the snakes. Didn't matter how much I handled it, I was always on guard. The python never bit me or showed any aggression. Can't say the same for the boa.

There's no small amount of truth to the joke that BPs are the pet rocks of the reptile world. Boas and retics are another matter entirely, as you well know.

We did, briefly, have a second BP. Penelope was a big female, and she was aggressive. Took her back to the guy we got her from.
