A neat shot last night as the sun was headed down and reflecting off the water, with the fountain in the background. The bait is probably about 45+ years old, part of the Bagley Small Fry lineup that was introduced in 1979. Haven’t seen anything as delicately balanced as this thing, and the bass were fairly impressed with it, also. Caught about a dozen on it.

I bought a bait  that said small fry on it at a tackle shop the other day. Unpackaged for $3.

I believe that’s an Excalibur Shallow Fry, a Bill Dance/Jimmy Houston promoted line of baits. They were tied in with the Fat Free Shad deep divers if I'm not mistaken. The Bagley baits were ultra realistic balsa creations, so a bit of a different creature.

I bet you are correct, it looks like a fat free shad

Had some work done in the kitchen this past week. Had the cabinets and walls professionally painted. The white cabinets really contrast nicely with the dark granite counters and back splash now. Having the cabinets painted costed about 1/4 of the cost of actually replacing them. Kept the brushed nickel hardware from before too.

I just got that a few days ago. It’s sitting on my coffee table. Sure enough, page 66 top left.

Had yesterday off, so I decided to brave the rain and go fishing.

Didn't catch anything, but I got to hang out with these ducks for a little bit. So that was pretty cool. Took the picture during a break in the weather.

I love a good, kinda creepy fog picture. Here's my favorite that I shot a while ago.

Love this one. Looks like just a wall of nothingness beyond the island.

Yesterdays fog photo was the densest fog I’ve ever seen. I was driving about 15mph on a 55 mph road that the launch is off of because the visibility was so poor.

Today is Nora's and my 33rd anniversary - she always gets me a 'cute' t-shirt.

This one is apropos - as back in late 1988 we first met online in an AOL chat-room...me in MN, her in FL...met face-to-face about 5 months later...married 15 months after that.

I eat a lot of bbq sandwiches, and I think the brioche bun changed the game....I spring for them everytime.  My burgers always get them as well.
