We have 2 cats and every time I bring the rods in the house to work on them, it's playtime with the cats. Don't know what it is about fishing line with them. Like a crackhead begging for a fix. Unhooking a freaked out cat is really hard too, so I've heard. 2 1 Quote

All that comes in there is bills that I throw away anyhow haha Why not just go buy another mail box? Put it on your credit card, wait a month to see if the new box works? ? If it does work then go back to buy the zip ties that @12poundbass suggested. 1 2 Quote

The grip strength was unreal, I thought I was going to have to cut the carpet 3 Quote

People talk about how mean and scrappy dogs can be but I feel like pound for pound a cat is much tougher. Also they are deceptively strong and athletic. Take my cat Sullivan for example. He's a lazy laid back 14lb house cat. He can also jump up on the kitchen counter with no effort. I'm not so sure he couldn't jump to the top of the fridge. That's like me jumping up to my roof. 1 Quote

Can't agree more. My cat growing up was a hunter. She'd leave for days and would always come back with a present for us - albeit dead. One day I was playing ball out back and my cat was just sitting there while a bird would come down to with 5-6' of here trying to irritate her. After like 3 or 4 time the bird did that my cat jumped up and snagged the bird out of the air. The bird just fluttered down like a jig with a rage chunk on, only to be eaten my a hungry cat. ? Quote

This is one of our cats. He weighs in at a measly 25lbs. On his hind legs stretched standing up, he's about 4ft from the floor to his front paws Was the runt of the litter. His sibling, first born and only female might weigh 5lbs soaking wet. 4 Quote

Had to turn around and pedal all the way back, into the wind, without ever finding out if there was fish in that creek or not. Quote

Way north bass guy Posted July 22, 2021 Posted July 22, 2021 As a fourth generation stonemason, I’ve worked on quite a few properties over the years where my dad, grandfather and great grandfather have done stonework in the past. I got this pic the other day from a contractor I do a lot of work for. It’s a fireplace that my grandfather built 60 years ago. Definitely one of a kind. It’s round, with four openings at North, South, East and West. Apparently it works quite well and doesn’t smoke at all, which is pretty impressive considering the amount of openings it has. I’ve built many double sided fireplaces before, but never any more than that. 13 Quote
Global Moderator Bluebasser86 Posted July 22, 2021 Global Moderator Posted July 22, 2021 Had a reel that was just screaming (literally every cast), for attention. Well it got it, all the way down to the frame. I only had 1 panic moment when I dropped a tiny pin that supports the clutch cam plate. By some miracle, I was able to spot it on the floor. 6 Quote

Well, that's better than a spring-clip flying off into the void...had that happen one time when I was servicing my old Abu 500R. Took me two weeks of calls and visits before I found the proper replacement...this was before the internet existed. 1 Quote
