It is pretty hilarious though watching their ‘what was that noise’ reaction when they do. ?

What's worse is when you chide them for it, and the tail swings wildly and whips it into a froth. Our old dog Sara did that...we called her 'black miasma dog'.

Must be because if you look it was out for delivery at 7:36 am then arrived in Orleans at 7:40 am. Stanton (where I live) is 30-35 minutes from Orleans but made it there in 4 minutes.

Well it left Lansing at 2:04 am. Probably on a plane to North Korea with the way things are going.

 

Obviously it’s not Academy’s fault because they got it out less than 24 hours from ordering it, but I’m still going to email them and make them aware.

Went into NC last weekend to do some hiking and the good ole gate across the road had other plans. But we found a waterfall and some other cool stuff! This was mingo falls at 120 feet tall

Thanks! I have more from that day of exploring but in the spirit of the topic heading I’ll just leave the one for today. I also found a picture of that waterfall frozen online when I looked up how tall it is

I feel lucky to be in my 50’s and being able to have my parents alive, although the years are really taking it’s toll on them. We’re Italian-American and enjoy ravioli around the holidays.

 

My grand parents were from the Italy and my father learned a lot from his parents and as a kid I was able to learn from my “papa”.  
 

Every year my father and I would turn out a couple of hundred for the family. Mine being the smallest I took 40 home for my family and in-laws.

As we were slowly working the bank we noticed what we assumed were a couple does with one harassing the other, and just when we noticed the aggressor was a little spike she'd had it and decided to jump into the water right in front of us. She did a solid 100 yard deer paddle sprint and that determined fella kept pace the whole way. Unfortunately for her she put in all of that work to go to an island where she couldn't escape him without another swim.
