Way north bass guy Posted August 2, 2020 Posted August 2, 2020 Nothing like a run on the tube on a hot afternoon. This was about 3 miles out in the big water of Georgian Bay, great spot for a run with hardly another boat anywhere. 10 Quote
Super User slonezp Posted August 2, 2020 Super User Posted August 2, 2020 First day behind the wheel. Only had 1 little mishap. One of the little girls at the birthday party was in the jeep with him in the yard. He decided to stand up. She hit the gas and he did a header off the back of the Jeep into the grass...Women drivers...He's crying and all the young moms come to his rescue. Grandma says time to put the car away. Instantly he went from crying to "No! I want to drive!" 12 Quote

Super User slonezp Posted August 5, 2020 Super User Posted August 5, 2020 Not proud of this. My daughter texted me where can she buy worms to take the grandson fishing. I told her Walmart and to check and make sure they're alive. We use pieces of crawlers for bluegill. 1 9 Quote
Global Moderator 12poundbass Posted August 5, 2020 Global Moderator Posted August 5, 2020 There are two seasons in Michigan, winter, and construction season. I’m not ready for winter yet but I’m ready for construction/dig season to end! 4 Quote

I get wounds like that on my hands at work sometimes, and it always takes forever to heal. Seems like it’s sealed back up, and you hit it on something again or catch it and open it back up, and it starts all over again. Quote

About an hour after I did that, we had a floor board popping up that I couldn’t get to lay right. My buddy says “it’s probably got a chunk of finger under it” 4 Quote

This is a great frogging lake! I caught my largemouth PB on this lake throwing a frog. It’s best around late September when the pads start to wither. 2 Quote

Global Moderator Bluebasser86 Posted August 12, 2020 Global Moderator Posted August 12, 2020 If I remember correctly from what my grandpa taught me, this is a male watermelon and likely to not be as sweet as the smaller, rounder female fruits, but still pretty proud to have grown one this large in our small garden in the backyard. 29.2 pounds on the bathroom scale (1 6 year old for scale). 10 Quote
