Hank had a burst of energy. Now he’s passed out in 6poundbass’s bedroom. When Hank gets a burst of energy it sounds like we have a horse in the house!

Chloe is clearly stressed out about things in the world today.

Chloe had a play date with my BIL's 6 month old puppy and she got ran ragged in the back yard. Covered top to bottom in mud. She got a bath and dried off and fell asleep on her back with her legs hanging off our bed.

Last skate of the year. All the rinks have been closed for a couple weeks so I missed the last few nights of hockey this year. The lake behind our house was about as perfect as you can get for outdoor ice today and it’ll be melting starting tomorrow so we had a good last skate. Nobody else around for miles so my son and I had the whole “rink” to ourselves.

I’m remember one time when I was 14 or so, my sister lived on the lake across the road from the one I live on now. We had a warm spell to melt the snow, then everything froze. The whole lake was like glass. I had 500 plus acres of ice like glass to skate around on with a stick and a puck. It was absolutely awesome!

Still a viable treatment for the cold and flu. As a kid I hated it, but now...not so much

I’m still working so I’m thankful but, wishing I had the three weeks off to fish whenever. Financially I need to work, so I’m happy!

If I could cast a line out my backyard, nothing else would matter.
