Had News Years dinner with friends ( and watched Oregon win the Rose Bowl ) and shot this from the kitchen window. The rainbow and the American flag waving just seemed cool to me.

Ahhhhh. MUch easier to view and less neck strain.

Of all the combined times I’ve tried coffee throughout my life it hasn’t equaled a quarter of a cup.

How can you live without coffee?

I go through a pot a day.

So @12poundbass what's your go to ?

Coke, Pepsi, Dr Pepper, Mountain Dew, Red Bull, Rock Star, Monster, 5-Hour Energy or is it the eternally popular Dirt Soda ?

I might have a pop once a month, otherwise it’s iced tea for dinner and aqua the rest of the day.

Back in my younger days it was 2 liters of Mt. Dew a day. Surprisingly I have all my teeth and only two fillings, so I faired pretty well with the Mt. Dew battle.

Dirt Soda must be really popular everywhere I go, because I can’t seem to find it, so surely it must be sold out!

I’ll let you be the guinea pig. My sinuses are so inflamed they’re about to explode so I can’t taste, but I still wouldn’t try any of those especially the Chocolate covered maple smoked bacon soda. ?

Being a midnight shift worker, I couldn't live without coffee. The last several years I've been a big energy drink user too but made a big push to stop drinking them this year in combination with losing weight. They don't even do much for me anymore, mostly the placebo effect of drinking something I think. Switched to V8+ Energy and really been liking those. Just vegetable/fruit juice mixed with tea and only 50 calories. Plus I can buy them in 12 packs for about $7 instead of $2 a can for the Monsters or whatever. Can't remember the last time I drank a regular energy drink and don't miss them.

I also drink mass quantities of coffee so I go to the pot every day.

Not saying it's a great gig, but I bet the position is already filled.

No need for common sense when people aren't held responsible for their actions.

“If common sense was common, everyone would have it” also rings true ?

Perhaps ~

I've always considered that mindset an excuse to be irresponsible and not hold knuckleheads responsible for their actions.  Both are the path of least resistance and everyone gets a participation trophy.

Too bad they don't compete for the Darwin Award Trophy.

You’re entitled to your perspective, and I’ll stand by my thoughts as well. Unfortunately, it has been my experience that society provides daily examples of head scratching moments where my quote rings true.
