Harold Scoggins Posted July 18, 2019 Posted July 18, 2019 Reports to "Last Roll Call." I received word this afternoon that Vincent Hughes passed away this past Friday. If service to country and community had a face, it would look like him. Vincent Hughes, Vietnam Veteran and retired NYPD Medal of Honor recipient. 5 2 Quote

It's going to get used on my johnboat as a phone charger/power source, kayak to run my Virb, and towards the end of next month on a camping trip to power electronics for our kids while we're in the tent. My sons think it's really neat because of the bright lights on front of it. Quote

We have a company here that services septic systems and the porta-potties for construction firms and the ones the state puts out near shore-fishing spots. Like all commercial trucks they have the weight limit on the side...but they had a little fun with it. "xx VERY gross tons" 2 Quote
Global Moderator Bluebasser86 Posted July 23, 2019 Global Moderator Posted July 23, 2019 Last week Lake cut his foot pretty good running through our backyard but we weren't able to find what he cut his foot on. Sunday afternoon I needed to mow so I dropped the mower deck to the dirt and found it. No idea how we didn't find it sooner, but I'm really glad it was his foot and not one of their heads or faces that found it first. Why someone would leave an old 4X4 anchor in the ground is beyond me but I hope it's the only one. 3 6 Quote

Way north bass guy Posted July 25, 2019 Posted July 25, 2019 Today was my sons 10th birthday. He’s a big fan of Harry Potter, and my wife always makes a big deal out of the cakes, so for dessert tonight we ate the “monster book of monsters”. 5 Quote

I'm not sure of the theory behind the cake, but kudos to the cake decorator. Looks really cool Quote
