Global Moderator Bluebasser86 Posted April 7, 2019 Global Moderator Posted April 7, 2019 No more huge pile of cedar limbs, 5 big trees worth of them, it was quite the fireball for a few minutes. On a completely unrelated note, what degree burn is it when your skin blisters? 3 Quote

That's second degree...do NOT pop the blisters. Cool them under COOL not COLD water, soft gauze to pad them and let them dry. Don NOT apply any ointments. No gas necessary when you have a giant pile of dead, dry cedar needles. Would basically be pouring gas on top of lighter fluid. 6 minutes ago, Way north bass guy said: At least your garage didn’t blister ? I made sure everything was way further away than I thought it should be before I started it. Burned all the grass around it so that didn't get away from me, and then I started the show. 1 Quote
Way north bass guy Posted April 7, 2019 Posted April 7, 2019 Still at least a couple weeks away from boating for me, but today I did put the skidoo to bed for the year, and it’s gonna be a while yet before I need one but push mowers were on sale and my old one was falling right apart, so we have a new, shiny sign of spring in the garage now ?? 3 Quote

Tim Kelly Posted April 8, 2019 Posted April 8, 2019 With the fishing here really slowing down, spring is a poor period as the fish start spawning and aren't usually very catchable for a while, I thought I'd get the stupidly small and light gear out and see if I could catch some of the non traditional species. Good fun catching roach on micro plastics, had a surprising number of decent perch too. I don't think I would have caught them on conventional tactics, so that is one for the memory bank of tricks in the future. 9 Quote
