 I think I left her tied up to a dock next to a bass boat with a 250 Verado for too long this spring

Caught a bunch of fish in the morning, went and tried to freeze to death in a tree in the afternoon. No deer, but watched a bunch of wood ducks fly into my pond 30 yards away, that was pretty cool.

Your post and picture got me thinking....do we (sportsman) have screws loose? Thinks about it, we sit in trees to the extent of almost certain death from freezing to death HOPING a deer walks by. Then in the summer we sit in a boat on the middle of the lake and slowly cook ourselves HOPING a fish that we're going to let go bites.

Not only that, but we spend so much money to do either one.

Somewhere, at the other end of this track, is what I’m looking for.

After 8 hours of trecking through the bush, I did not find the end of it.

Oh well, I still have a few days next week to find him.

My 'zero tolerance' policy with leaves on the property is completely out the window this year.

Latest trend is that it's better to leave them.  It's supposedly better for the soil. Pun intended.

First day I fished this year was -2 when we launched and made it all the way to 22 for a high. Caught 2 of my biggest bass of the year that day though, so I keep subjecting myself to it.

At this points the decisions been made for me.

Our 'lake effect' snow showers on & off all weekend pretty much did it.

Bet we're up to at least 6 inch on the grassy areas now - and it's going to just keep coming, and coming, and coming  and coming, and coming, and coming, and coming, and coming, and coming, and coming, and coming, and coming, and coming, and coming, and coming, and coming, and coming, and coming, and coming, and coming, and coming, and coming, and coming, and coming, and coming, and coming, and coming, and coming, and coming, and coming, and coming, and coming, and coming, and coming, and coming.

Sorry, guess I lost it there for a bit . . .

I'm better now.

We lost a member of the family today, he passed at 8:10 pm.

Although at 8:15 he was brought back from the light by way of chip bag crinkle ?

Those are beautiful dogs! The dogs that pulled our sleds looked like inbreds. Fairbanks, AK.

Thanks -

Sometimes it's all about ability & results.

The 'new breed' of sled dog has changed many times over the years.

Somethings do however stay the same.

On the trail today with Tucker.

Apparently he has something against selfies.
