A-Jay I hope to. Honestly, I'd prefer normal temps for this time of year, helps keep the fair weather fishermen at home. Plus, those power plant lake fish just bite so much better when it's nasty out it seems. 1 Quote
Burtonxj Posted December 16, 2017 Posted December 16, 2017 That’s a great picture. Arlington today. 6 Quote

We hit the single digits last night. I just looked at the ice scraper and shook my head. Pulled out a bottle of de-ice spray. Its the only thing that works for me at those low temps. 1 Quote

RPreeb Posted December 21, 2017 Posted December 21, 2017 On the road to Cabela's yesterday. Yup, that's right, this is the first 5 miles on the best route to my nearest Cabela's in Sidney, Nebraska. 8 Quote

RPreeb Posted December 22, 2017 Posted December 22, 2017 Today's drive into town... took the scenic route and stopped for a photo from a bridge over the South Platte. Lot's of ice floating in the river after yesterday's cold front and last night's 6° temps. 9 Quote

Super User Team9nine Posted December 23, 2017 Super User Posted December 23, 2017 Put the boat up for what is likely the end of the 2017 fishing season. This is the little corner of the boat where all the cut off baits that never made it back into their boxes ended piled up. A nice eclectic mix. Doesn't every boat end up having such a nook or cranny of similar leftover baits? LOL 8 Quote
RPreeb Posted December 23, 2017 Posted December 23, 2017 The first spot that I fished this year. Looks nice, stuck on shore and never got a nibble, but I didn't know what I was doing (still don't) but I hope that I'm learning from hanging out here. I plan to try it again next year after I get my canoe and see if I can cover some of those flooded willows from the outside. 4 Quote
Super User slonezp Posted December 24, 2017 Super User Posted December 24, 2017 Christmas present from mom and dad. Custom hand carved filet knife and sheath. My mothers comment was "I bought it for you because I know how much you like cleaning fish" It's really too nice to even use. 10 Quote
