It's a small lake, maybe 200 acres. I had already been fishing for a couple hours and it was extremely slow. We left the ramp and trolled around the entire shoreline casting docks and weed lines and picked up a couple gills and perch. We were within spitting distance of the ramp on our way in when we found the honey hole. There was a small downed tree against the shoreline. All the crappies were caught in a 10' x 10' area. in 2fow. We call a downed tree that holds a bunch of fish a "magic tree". 1 Quote

mllrtm79 Posted June 19, 2017 Posted June 19, 2017 fished Marshyhope creek for the first time yesterday, I never did get a fish into the boat, but it was a beautiful day to be on the water. The gf's stepdad went along, he took 2nd in the tournament with 2 fish, apparently it was a brutal day for everyone. We saw a beaver, and a couple of bald eagles, but it's hard to get a good pic at 60+ mph or when you have a fishing rod in your hand... the wind was pushing up river, so the tide never got right (is what I was told anyway) I did figure out that I can skip a Bizzbait Pad Daddy under a bridge using a baitcaster, now that is fun stuff. The look on my fishing partner's face the third or fourth time I did it was priceless 2 Quote

Super User Jigfishn10 Posted June 20, 2017 Super User Posted June 20, 2017 Thank you. I'm assuming you spent many a day on Revere Beach growing up? I bought that home in Kennebunkport back in 2001. In 2004 I had to pick the house up and roll it to the driveway so I can put a foundation under it. It was sitting on railroad ties that were rotting out quickly. The structure was a 2 car garage with an apartment on top. After many years of sweat equity it's transformed into a nice little home with 3 bedrooms on the 1st floor and an open floor living area on top with a view of the beach. 2 Quote
