Logan S Posted June 2, 2017 Posted June 2, 2017 Panorama of a storm approaching at Smith Mountain Lake from my last tournament...Never got on any quality fish so this is my only 'good' photo from the trip . I did catch one on this point just before the downpour started though. 4 Quote
Super User Darren. Posted June 4, 2017 Super User Posted June 4, 2017 My youngest hauling in a 28+" striper on Saturday by the James River Bridge. Was fishing with soccer buddy's family. And yes. I'm well aware (after I rec'd the pic) he wasn't wearing a PFD. 6 Quote

Super User Darren. Posted June 5, 2017 Super User Posted June 5, 2017 Actually...I don't know. The folks he went with are quite good at Striper fishing, so I'm gonna assume an eel... Funny though, I never asked. But I'm guaranteeing it weren't no wacky rig 1 Quote

Super User slonezp Posted June 10, 2017 Super User Posted June 10, 2017 Story behind the pic. My dad met me at the ramp at my favorite panfish lake early afternoon. It's a small lake, maybe 200 acres. I had already been fishing for a couple hours and it was extremely slow. We left the ramp and trolled around the entire shoreline casting docks and weed lines and picked up a couple gills and perch. We were within spitting distance of the ramp on our way in when we found the honey hole. There was a small downed tree against the shoreline. All the crappies were caught in a 10' x 10' area. in 2fow. 3 Quote
Super User Jar11591 Posted June 10, 2017 Super User Posted June 10, 2017 Thats awesome. Crappie are by far my favorite fresh water fish to eat, and I only dream of happening upon a honey hole that produces a bag like that. My crappie catches are always few and far between, and usually have to fill out my fish fry with bluegill, pumpkinseed and perch. Did catch my PB perch earlier today though! 1 Quote
