Hog Basser Posted May 5, 2017 Posted May 5, 2017 I take beer with me when fishing on a private pond and staying on property a lot, but I find I'm too busy fishing to enjoy the beer when I'm out there. They usually get hot before I finish them. I've done a little better with one of those yeti style metal koozies, but if I'm fishing I really just don't drink that much....now afterward, that's a different story! Quote
WDE Posted May 13, 2017 Posted May 13, 2017 Southern Prohibition(Hattiesburg, MS) Devil's Harvest Breakfast IPA(formerly an APA with a little more alcohol) is my go to session brew lately. 4.9%, hazy, and packed with hops. It recently topped a blind taste list out of 51 other session IPAs. On 4/29/2017 at 9:46 PM, Dyerbassman said: If you like a sour beer, try a gose style. Naturally lower ABV%, and very tasty. Sierra Nevada Otra Vez is a good one to start with. Or Westbrook's gose, if it's available in the area. Puts Otra Vez(and myriad other American gose) to shame. Salty, tart, sour goodness. Quote
