TheMississippiOutdoorsman Posted April 29, 2017 Posted April 29, 2017 I'm wanting my first pair of fishing glasses and I'm looking at the strike king PLUS glasses and wonder what are the best all around lens color???? I'm fishing ponds, lakes and some inshore, and the water clarity is usually in between stained and somewhat clear but never super dirty Quote
Turkey sandwich Posted April 29, 2017 Posted April 29, 2017 There's a whole lot of science, and you can be really specific, but generally, amber colored lenses are considered your best all around option. 3 Quote
Global Moderator 12poundbass Posted April 29, 2017 Global Moderator Posted April 29, 2017 I've found it depends on your eyes as well. People with lighter color eyes don't handle the brighter days as well as people with darker eyes. I have blues eyes so I use blue lenses on bright days and amber lenses on days that are as bright. 3dees Posted April 29, 2017 Posted April 29, 2017 amber for overcast days and grey for bright sun, although I like my amber lens most of the time. 2 Quote

CTBassin860 Posted April 29, 2017 Posted April 29, 2017 I have the SK Plus blue lenses and love them on sunny days. Quote
TheMississippiOutdoorsman Posted April 30, 2017 Author Posted April 30, 2017 And also what's the best for sight fishing, is amber still a good option Quote
