So what are your favorite hog style creature baits? I love the rage hawgs, they have a great action and bass seem to just murder them at times. At other times though, the old time brush hog from Zoom seems to work even better, especially when they want the smaller profile baby hog. The action of the zoom is a little muted but still intriguing IMO, and perhaps better in clear water and tough conditions than the rage hawg.

Cant think of the name off the top of my head, but i prefer the KVD version of the "Brush Hawg".

That would be the game hawg.

+1 for Brush Hog.

Baitmonkey convinced me to buy the new Keitech Crazy Flapper last time I was on the Siebert Outdoors website.  They look cool, but haven't used them yet.

All around for me it is still the brush hog. For more stained conditions or when they want a profile in between the baby brush hog and the original brush hog, the rage hawg is my pick.

I use the Big Bite Baits Creature a lot because it's exactly like the Zoom but I can get it in a 25pk for a 5-7 bucks. The Z-man Boar HogZ has been great this year so far too. Hopefully they'll come out with a bigger size too.

Do these baits kick as well as the zoom on a slow retrieve?

I use a variety of these baits on my home made jika rigs.   Zoom Brush hog is always an option and so is the Netbait Paca Craw.  Big Bite baits used to have the Kreit creature, which was a decent bait, now discontinued but some colors still available at Tackle Warehouse, but not Tilapia, which got bit the most for me..  Color wise - current favorite of Brush Hog is a green pumpkin with orange metal flake.   This works MUCH better than watermelon/orange flake which seems to be more readily available.  Many of the Paca Craw "craw colors work for me - Bama Craw - Summer Craw - Ocochobee Craw and other's that I can't remember right now.

On the subject of creature baits, do not neglect various iterations of lizards.  The YUM Zellemander and the Sallemander are both great. baits.  Currently discontinued, Berkley used to make an 8" powerbait lizard that was an outstanding bait.   I used it on jika rigs and in places where I'd throw a 10" Power worm.  IMO, Berkley got word that I was becoming too fond of that bait and they discontinued it, just to mess with my head.

Same. The Big Bites are identical.

I'm not sure if it's officially a creature, but I would go with the Rage Space Monkey.
