Soft Body Swim Baits Without Plastic Surroundings inside the Bag? Do they work will the action be off? Thinking of the grass pig for finesse applications.

Are you talking about swimbaits that are loose in the bag as opposed to a clamshell packaging like Rage Tails and Keitechs? If so the loose swimbaits will be fine. Usually the cheaper swimbaits come loose in the bag and "premium" come in a clamshell to protect their shape. Grass Pigs will be fine unless the tails are really kinked. If that happens just boil the tails for 10-20 seconds and lay them flat to cool.

I have a bunch of 3&4in swing impacts. They are not clamshelled, and do just fine. I also have the larger fat impacts, that ive put in smaller laminated bags. No issues there either. The shell on the big fats,is a real PIA to carry in tackle bag.
