Maggiesmaster Posted April 27, 2017 Posted April 27, 2017 I recently had cataract surgery and am able to wear sunglasses with only readers. However, the shade of Costas I want to get don't come with readers. Has anyone put those stick-on readers on their sunglasses? If so, what is the best brand? Quote
Super User A-Jay Posted April 27, 2017 Super User Posted April 27, 2017 I'm a 'reader sunglass wearer' as well. Tried the stick-on. Did not care for them. Didn't really work for me. Have since gone to ONOs. Solid, quality & comfortable sunglass with readers that work. Many style (and sizes) to choose from. I have 3 pairs, One in the truck & 2 in the boat. Super User Scott F Posted April 27, 2017 Super User Posted April 27, 2017 I've been using flip-up reading glasses over my sunglasses for many years. Flip them up when fishing, no blurry spots on the lenses. Flip them down when you need to tie a knot. They clip on to your glasses and can easily be moved to any sunglasses you have. 1 Quote
BassnChris Posted April 27, 2017 Posted April 27, 2017 I used the stick on readers for several years......have not worn them for the last year. they aren't too expensive.....might get a pair and try them to see if YOU like them....your opinion is all that really matters.? Quote
Super User Paul Roberts Posted April 28, 2017 Super User Posted April 28, 2017 I've been using the stick-ons for a few years now. Work fine. Dunno the brand. Quote
Super User WRB Posted April 28, 2017 Super User Posted April 28, 2017 OptX 20/20 Hydrotac from Amazon look OK if you want specific sunglasses. I use prescription reader polarized sunglasses after cataract surgery. Tom Quote
