FCPhil Posted April 24, 2017 Posted April 24, 2017 I found this frog at a pond I was fishing recently. I really like the size and it still casts well (the body is 45mm-50mm long). Can anyone tell me what lure this is? Does the belly weight look custom made? Quote
wisconsin heat Posted April 24, 2017 Posted April 24, 2017 Hard to say. It has the raised arms, but its not a Koppers. My best guess is that it is a house-brand or knock off of some kind. Quote
Brayberry Posted April 24, 2017 Posted April 24, 2017 I'm 99% sure it's the Dicks Sporting Goods House brand (Jawbone) frog. They run like $3 each https://www.dickssportinggoods.com/p/jawbone-frog-soft-bait-17jawujwbnfrgsxxxlur/17jawujwbnfrgsxxxlur?&color=Black Blue Looks like it's the color "Frog" 3 Quote
Super User RoLo Posted April 24, 2017 Super User Posted April 24, 2017 I rummaged thru my frog drawer but the closest match I could find was an old Spro frog. It has the same walking weight in the same location, has a diamond shaped underside, and a circular dimple behind the eye. Possibly a forerunner of the Bronzeye, but I really can't say. Roger Quote
Super User Jar11591 Posted April 25, 2017 Super User Posted April 25, 2017 Pretty sure it's a Jawbone frog as well. Quote
