Hey guy I'm new to boating and looking to buy a small bass boat to cruise on the lake with my buddy has a bantam 3x two man boat comes with 4hp gas motor and mini Cota trolling motor,life vest, anchor, all ready to go has one patch in the bottom about inch in diameter doesn't take on water or anything tho, asking $275.00 witch i thought was a decent deal any info you can give me is it worth it? Thanks

How big is your lake and how much can you spend on a boat?

Looks similar to the pelican bass raider which is a very popular little boat. There is a huge thread here with all kinds of info and modifications. I am strongly considering one of these types of boats after reading that thread you should check it out. I believe it's called "Any pelican bass raider owners". Hope that helps

I would say go for it for the money.  If it totally failed you could probably sell the motor for half of that.

Unless everything is older than the hills and ready for the trash, go for it. There won't be many times you'll have the opportunity to buy a boat for the same price as a workhorse rod and reel combo!

Thanks guys I actually seen the boat in action my buddy took me out on it today for about 4 hrs the motor is a evinrude starts first pull Everytime the mini Cota works well also and were it's been patched at is about a inch in diameter but no leaks not even a seep all day I offered him 250 and he took it, will be picking it up this weekend I'm make sure I post some photos for you all to see thanks again
