Glad you know what mushrooms are edible!! :D

I'd be more likely to eat the wrong one and end up

dead on the side of a meadow....

That said, I had a great Easter evening out on the

water tonight. Ned rig saved the day, and even

enhanced it! LOL

Daren, don't eat the wrong ones! I'm too far from you to practice my old emt skills. a ned rig is something I have never used. I need to read up on it and then try , seems like you guys have a lot of good things to say about it. glad to here you had a great easter! MIKE, sadly my wife says it's too late for the psycho part.

Just started the Ned fishing this past month. It has been

truly awesome. No skunks so far when I've used it! I even

had three rods rigged with it last night, caught on all three.

I generally avoid all foods provided by Mother Nature when

I'm out and about because I simply don't know which ones

are edible (for most part). So I should be safe...

I love all kind of mushroom too but wouldn't daren eat the wild one. Good job on the fish, I went out fishing too caught two and lost on when she jumped. But the bad part is now my boat is dead.

Those are morel mushrooms.  There's really no mistaking them for anything other than a morel.

Nice fish!

Nice fish!

Assuming one even knew "morel mushrooms".... :)

Which I didn't.

Until now.

Those are choice mushrooms , and can fetch a pretty penny per pound. I've seen outrageous asking amounts. My hillbilly family here in Ohio is always hounding me about the morels in Michigan (which is where I'm from ) , apparently they are plentiful there.

@scaleface found a nice batch of em and posted in some thread awhile back.

I think they are good... Not what some people pay for them but an awesome find for sure. Every time I see them I think about my past grandfather. He loved to hunt em up...

Nice bass too ! I'd say it was a success!!

Nice find .

I just finished off a big plate of morels. Last year I had chanterelles for the first time . Those things were everywhere. Hen of the Woods  and Oyster mushrooms are choice too.
