Hez Posted April 15, 2017 Posted April 15, 2017 I fished with a guy today and he had an underspin screwed into his senko. I figured I would be able to come home and jump on the internet, and with a simple search of "screw in underspin" - I would find what I was looking for. Seems I was wrong. Is anyone familiar with these or know where to find them? I searched Tackle Warehouse (they have their own category), but didn't seem to have the screw-in kind. Only the kind attached to jig heads. blckshirt98 Posted April 15, 2017 Posted April 15, 2017 6th Sense Divine Underspins are top notch and the head fits on flush with plastics. Also 6th Sense just makes Japan quality stuff at domestic prices - http://www.tacklewarehouse.com/6th_Sense_Divine_Underspins_/descpage-6SDUS.html Edit: Oops, I can't read, you were looking for just the screw lock with the blade. These are angled if you're looking for something more aligned on the bottom, http://www.tacklewarehouse.com/Pro_Point_Underspin_Blades_3pk/descpage-PPUN.html You can also always make your own using a barrel swivel, O-ring, a blade of your choice, and the following - http://www.tacklewarehouse.com/Do-it_Hitching_Post_25pk/descpage-DOITHPS.html 1 Quote
Super User Fishes in trees Posted April 16, 2017 Super User Posted April 16, 2017 There is another piece of terminal tackle called a "sling blade flutter" that might do what you want. *** Edit ***. Apparently the sling blade flutter has been discontinued. Just did a search and couldn't find them. I know that they exist, because I have some, in various hook sizes and weights. 1 Quote

riverbasser Posted April 17, 2017 Posted April 17, 2017 A screw lock with a blade screwed into the back of a plastic is called the MJ rig. You will find more info searching this name. I doubt there is a rig out there without a name lol, even if its only a small difference 1 Quote

From what I've experienced, they don't stay in Senkos as long as other stick baits. Fish seem to hold Senkos better than other worms that are tougher, but the blades just don't stay in as long. So I think you have to take the good with the bad and make a decision based on that. You can always buy a more "generic" worm, if you will, that will last longer, as this seems to be more of a reaction strike technique where you will hook a fish quickly rather than waiting to feel a really soft bite on a finesse presentation. Just my thoughts. 1 Quote
