I am road tripping from Las Vegas to Michigan in a couple weeks and I'm looking for some good bass spots along I-70 to fish at dusk before I turn in each night. Any help would be awesome...they need to be close to 70. Thanks.

I believe I-70 was -US 40 back when I made a trip to St Louis decades ago. Remember most of the states require a fishing license and private ponds have owners with shoot guns for trespassers. Just keep your eyes open and stay near where you see something interesting.

Sand Hollow And Quail Creek, right near St. George, Utah. Sand Hollow is a very clear fishery so the bass often stay deep during the day (20 to 40 feet).

Check Google maps.  There are several good sized lakes in central and eastern Kansas that are close to I-70.  Don't know anything about the fishing on them, but I'm sure that could be researched.  As mentioned, a temporary license will be needed most any place you stop to fish.

No experience in the area, but welcome aboard!

The Grand Junction area, where I live, has one lake that is okay, but occasionally produces a few 5 to 8 pounders.
