I liked it better when you were Darth Vader.

Yeah but,  do you realize the skill it takes to kill a man with dental tools...?

It'll actually scare some to death just seeing the dental tools...

Retired from the United States Marine Corps in 1995. I have seen the very worst parts of most countries earth. Started off in the infantry but learned quickly there was not much future in that.  I went on to repair and fly helicopters. After retirement I created maintenance manuals for aircraft and components. Fun when you're young!

Now I am an ornery old man that harasses his grandchildren. After a number of replacement parts the good Lord allows me get a line wet every now and then.

I am currently retired for a living,...."and loving it". I spent 45 yrs. welding, and 32 yrs. at the company that I retired from, building fire trucks. "LOTS AND LOTS OF FIRE TRUCKS". So if you ever have a fire, and are in need of the services of your local fire dept,...."you're welcome". We built trucks for Sutphen, Hendrickson, Ferrara, American Le France, E-1, among others.

Thank you for saying so MisplacedTexan99, but it was my honor to serve our nation and carry on a belief that it takes some sacrifice from all of us to maintain the finest standard of living the world has ever known.

God Bless America!

Currently I'm working for a custom clothing company and am in charge of packing, labeling, and scheduling all the larger shipments. It's a pain in the rear end and I'm not fond of it. I'm also a part-time fishing guide in the summer months, and a Junior High Boys and Girls basketball coach in the winter. I get far more satisfaction out of my part time jobs than I do my regular job. Hopefully going back to school in the fall so I can move into a better situation.

I've always wanted my very own firetruck.  instead of water, I'd fill it...with beer!

It's probably a real good thing that we live 2000 miles apart!  ;)

Awesome to see everyone's back ground.

I shipped collectibles for a small Internet based company for the past 6 years and worked my way up to supervisor....Yay. Super convenient, flexible, paid bills and hobbies.

Now I start my new job/career next week for a company that is one of the largest suppliers of ground service equipment for aircraft in the world. I'm stoked.

This is awesome. A few careers I've never really heard of. I'm trying whatever I can to somehow have some sort of 'Aha' moment in terms of finding something I get satisfaction out of at work. I literally have no idea what I could tolerate doing 8 hours a day that doesn't require sitting down all the time. My patience is waning.

I'm an Investigator for the FDA (Food & Drug Administration).  Its tolerable most days, and actually interesting on others.  Used to work for the Minnesota DNR (Department of Natural Resources) after college for a while until this offer came along 8 years ago.  Like most others here, I'd rather be fishing than working but unfortunately that's not a reality at my age right now.

Don't get stuck on standards like 8 hr days and stuff like that. Plenty of enjoyable money making opportunities outside of that box.

I'm a Lineman for an electric company.  It's the only job I can do since I'm scared of heights and electricity.

My wife has been an Attorney since 1998.
