Spinnerbait rod choice?

What's you all's opinion on a 7 foot, heavy power rod spinnerbaits weighing 1/2 ounce and heavier?

I'm trying to have a rod that I can be confident with, even on those big fish lakes.  I have my eye on a Dobyn's Fury.  I'm trying to stay within the $100 price range.

The FR 704C should work fine.  You could also go with the Fury FR 734C.  That rod has a bit different taper and may be better.  It is also one of their most versatile rods.  The price is the same so the choice is yours.  If you can handle the longer rod do it.

Fury line is good - hard to beat in that price range.  Falcon Bucoo would be another worth looking at.  I like a 7' medium heavy for SBs.

X2 on the bucoo, I have two trap casters(7 mh) that I throw spinnerbaits up to 3/4oz on and I really like them.. id also suggest it for a weekend warrior on a budget as you can fish lots of different baits pretty good with it..

My vote is the Fury 734C...but only because I have one on the way . Seriously though, I've heard nothing but rave reviews about this rod and it's versatility which played a major factor about my purchase (also, there's another popular bass message board where Gary Dobyn's himself is a member and answers questions about all of his rods...kind of cool being able to speak to the guy who designed the rod...PM me if you'd like to know which message board that is). I'm a builder and not familiar with the actions of the rods mentioned, but most recommend a fast or extra fast action in order to jerk the spinnerbait effectively through weeds.  Slow and moderate actions are not as good.  Also, some say that faster actions reduce helicopering, but I'm not sure that's accurate.  Get the power that will load properly with the weight lures you plan to use most often (tell by the lure weight range for the rod)

I prefer a mh/f for crankbaits and spinnerbaits.
