Super User ChrisD46 Posted April 9, 2017 Super User Posted April 9, 2017 Beyond a stick worm (Senko , Yum Dinger ) what other worms in say a 5.5" to 6.5" range have a good wobble / action with a wacky jig head (i.e. 1/16th oz. ) ? ...I'm aware of the Jackell Flick Shake but curious about other plastic worms you have used with a weighted wacky jig head with good success ? Thanks in advance ... Quote
Super User eyedabassman Posted April 9, 2017 Super User Posted April 9, 2017 I use a Zoom Fin. worm, a ribbon tail worm, fish doctor by Zoom, Quote
riverbasser Posted April 9, 2017 Posted April 9, 2017 I haven't found any that wiggle quite like a senko but I still throw finesse worms and jelly worms weightless or wacky Quote
Global Moderator Bluebasser86 Posted April 10, 2017 Global Moderator Posted April 10, 2017 I usually fish a trick worm on a weighted head. It doesn't wobble like a senko, but the ends of the worms move around quite a bit. 1 Quote
Super User Darren. Posted April 10, 2017 Super User Posted April 10, 2017 While I have 5 and 6" stick worms, I don't often fish them. BPS Stik-O in 6" is pretty weighty in and of itself, but with a 1/16th it should be a mighty fine worm. I like the shimmy of the Stik-O. The YUM Dinger would also be good on a weighted rig as it's, IMO, too light for weightless due to the lack of salt. So perfect for weighted. I normally throw 4" worms both weightless and on a jig. Big Swimbait Posted April 10, 2017 Posted April 10, 2017 +1 on the Trick Worm. I also have had success with the Strike King Ocho. The multiple flat sides give the bait a different action. Quote
Super User Munkin Posted April 11, 2017 Super User Posted April 11, 2017 Flick Shake hands down but the BPS version works almost as well and are a lot cheaper. Allen Quote
