I have seen many videos on the Tube but no one mentions limits.

For example, what would be the minimum size swimbait to rig? 3 inch, 4 inch

Hollow body vs full body? What swimbaits would be better for this rig?

Size of treble hook?

I was thinking of rigging the treble on top vs the bottom, thoughts?

last question, how would this rigging mess up the action of the bait?

I always use a coffee stir straw inserted into the bait. For this way, solid body baits are best. I've done it on all size baits - treble size depends on the bait size. As long as the entry point is in the center of the nose, I have not seen any problems with bait action.

Here's something new designed by Bill Lowen for Lure Parts Online that I have ordered but not tried yet. I really like the concept. It's basically a weighted swimbait head with a screw lock keeper. The passage for the line-thru is molded into the head.

You place the treble hook on top and bottom of the bait?

In open water, the bottom. If I am swimming it over grass or some other cover, I rig it on the top to snag less.

There are no limits! Only your imagination.

You can get a hollow body and run a line through and stuff a bullet weight into belly.

I saw that you could use one of those CPS screw pins and attach a treble hook to the bottom of the swimbait like that.  I have not tried it yet to see if it's possible.
