Left work a little early today to hit up the lake by work that i havent been to this year and figured id start with blue gill color chatterbait with havoc  grass pig as a trailer with the tail dipped in spike it. It was over cast a little choppy and a storm is coming so i thought i might catch something. After an hour no bites what so ever then i have my chatterbait about to the bank and got hung up on a underwater limb popped it free and bam! Pulled a little drag and scouped it with the net. 5 pounds 11 ounces!

Sorry for it being on the ground.

You're grounded!  ;)  My first "nice" fish was about that size!  Always get a thrill when I chance to catch a 5 pounder!  May it not be your PB very long!
