For the price of those at tackle warehouse, why bother? They work great and I doubt that a DIY would be as cheap. That being said, 2" wide webbing and Velcro would be my best guess.

Thanks, i will probably wait until someone i know makes an order over 50 to save on shipping.

I have been using these for years. never had a problem. cheap, easy to install and replace if needed. never had a boat long enough to replace them.

Any place that sells boating supplies and equipment will have them locally.

A bag of small bungees at you local DIY big box store cost the same as one of those.

I thought I got a good deal on the ones I bought off amazon.  Those are the same thing and a lot cheaper on TW. :(
