You can make this a poll. Pit boss is nice for the money but I'd pick the structure bug ultimately.

Structure Bug was money for me last year. Haven't had much luck with the Pit Boss.

Welcome

It depends on what I'm using it for.  On a punch rig, I prefer the Pit Boss. Almost every other situation, I'd opt for the Rage Tail.

Haven't used a pit boss enough but never caught a fish off it and I don't like how sometimes the tails stick together. I catch bass and pike in CT off the rage structure bug and have not had any  same success with and NY times times type of craw or creature. Bama craw or black blue structure bug Texas rig will work anywhere I tried.

If money isn't an option, Rage Bug. If I'm paying out of pocket (and assuming Berkley didn't discontinue ALL my favorite colors), I'd take the Pit Boss.

Both work very well as a jig trailer or as a texas rigged plastic. My buddy uses the pit bosses while I fish more of the bugs. We both catch plenty of fish.

Both work great. The pit boss is money for me, caught a pair of six plus pounders last year for me.

Depends if you want a lot of action or a little action. They are both good at different times.

I love both, but as others have said, the rage bug seems to produce better for me, but the cost effectiveness of the pitboss is unmatched.

I like the rage bugs for a bigger presentation but if I'm sizing down a little the 3" pit bosses seem to really do well.

Rage bug hands down. I tried an experiment last year. Tied on a summer craw rage bug and went flipping, caught around 5 fish. Took it off, threw on a summer craw pit boss, no bites. Put the rage bug back on and went to town on them again. They may be twice the cost, but I'd rather catch fish than have 2 packs of lures that don't produce as well.
