lo n slo Posted April 1, 2017 Posted April 1, 2017 there's a small cow pond in the pasture that borders our property. the cows are now gone as the property has been sold to a developer and a new subdivision will soon overtake this quiet slice of heaven in western NC. however, it was the perfect spot to introduce my 5 year old grandson to the sport we all love. first we dug our own worms from the garden and then made our way to the water. his first ever fish was a small cat. he proceeded to catch 15 small bream and catfish this afternoon, until we ran out of crawlers. i raised his uncle on the water and now hope to do the same same with him for as long as i can. enjoy! 10 Quote
