RockvilleMDAngler Posted October 13, 2006 Posted October 13, 2006 I have a Minn Kota Endura 50 or 60 (I can't remember but it is older and has 35lbs of thrust) and I want to put a Motorguide Hacker prop on it. Will this fit or do I need to get a Minn Kota hacker prop (which I don't think they make)? Thanks Quote
Guest avid Posted October 15, 2006 Posted October 15, 2006 I'm not sure what a "hacker" prop is, but it sounds like a weedless prop. I wouldn't mess with another company's prop. They may have an adapter or somthing, but I don't trust those things. If it is a weedless prop then you have nothing to worry about going with MK. their Weedless Wedge II prop is absolutely weedless. I live in SE Florida where the small lakes I fish are so weed choked you look out and think you could walk accross. Seriously, the grass and matted weeds are THAT thick. This prop will stay clean through the worst of it. Of course the motor shaft will weed up, but thats usually easy to fix by pulling into clear water and punching it in reverse. Good luck and have fun. Quote
Travlin_Man Posted October 16, 2006 Posted October 16, 2006 Check out Kipawa props. You will get more speed and cut through the weeds much better than the oe. prop. Quote
