What's your best jerkbaits that you use for value (produces at a minimum cost)? And what's your jerkbait you're going to in a tournament and money is on the line and you're not afraid a musky will eat it ;)

The rock chunk rc stx fit that bill the best.  I have others but I would not want to loose my lucky craft at double the cost.

Rapala Shadow Raps for the best value.

Lucky Craft Pointer 100 if I fished tournaments.

Storm Twitch Stick is the best value bait and to be honest fishing a tournament doesn't mean using a high end model. If I had to choose just 1 model for a tournament I'd go with an X-Rap, it is the most versatile jerkbait made in my opinion.

If you can get them to suspend to your liking the RC STX is hard to beat. The Bakers were nice but the price jumped last year.

I wish I could find some of these in canada, I found them on ebay but with shipping I might as well just buy vision 110's

Value: X-Rap and Shadow Rap.  They catch fish in places I'm hesitant to throw a 110 or some version of Pointer.

Money on the line: Vision 110.  Boring answers, I know, but truthful.

Agree on the Vision 110.  Problem with those is they are made in Japan to be fished on very light tackle and line so the hooks are quite weak.

Most tournament anglers switch them out.  I recommend Gamakatsu #6 finesse trebles.  You won't bend those bad boys out.

If someone stole all my jerkbaits and only left the LCs I would be just fine. I still toss others but I would say 90% of what I use is a Slender pointer, 78 sp or 100sp plus a few other variations. Sure they are $15-17 a piece but I have bought some used for about 1/2 that and the NIB baits during a 15-20% off sale. I don't fish pike/muskie infested waters all that much but if I did I would probably toss more Rogues and KVD jerkbaits.

"Which jerkbait has the best value?" The one that catches the most fish.B)

Which for me, is the same one I'd reach for in a tournament, the vision 110 (unless they're out deeper, then i would reach for the Staysee 90)

The RC Stx or the Bakers? I know of a place that sells the RC Stx in Canada but again.....shipping is killer and not sure if worth it.

I'm going to give the Duo Realis 120sp a shot. Ordered it in Morning Dawn. Anybody have experience with those?

Big duo fan here... They pull hard but what 120 don't great action more of a slow roll.  Only fished in my pond to see the action on them I'm very excited to try them out on the lake

RL3 Jerk 110 or Springer.

I for one will not spend $15+ for a jerkbait. That's just who I am.
