Awesome. If you can make those you can run door casing, baseboards, cove/quarter round, scribe molding and most trims in your own home !

thanks guys.i love playing with barn wood , I make furniture. and remodel rooms with it . gives me something  to do in my spare time. this was just something I wanted to do for my cousin to say thank you for taking me to texas fishing.

Just a question or two...did you rabbitt the frame?  Router or table saw?  How did you join the miters?  Thanks

git r done lonnie. your frames look good. love that stuff. we demo'd the roof of this barn yesterday with chain saw's. he's going back with a trussed roof and removing all the center poles for hay storage.

keep those boards man. makes great looking furniture. run metal detector over boards to save planer blades. plane back sides.belt sand fronts leaving saw marks and nail holes I like red mahogany stain it leaves marks looking darker. or just plain laqure looks good too. then mix gray exterior boards for like door centers or coffee table ends and backs etc...same goes for 2x stuff, makes great frames for furniture. made all of my shop cabinets out of same lumber you are cutting, looks pretty cool

 Y'all ever watch that barnwood builders show? Theres a lot of history and techniques involved ,and they seem to enjoy doing it.

I done the frame quickly, I just used a kregg jig. planed  the back so even.   and dado blade for glass, backing, and pic. no one sees the back any way I figure. you could do other joints for miters, this was just quick and easy for me.
