i'm coming in to claim that spotted spot @Bluebasser86 !!

i know i'd had your mark beat already Clayton, but couldn't find any photos to prove it.  Last night i went out and snagged this 3.42 lb spotted beauty!  I'd be surprised to find that there's not somebody on here that can smash that. A big1.jpg.2fb3f88e9ff7c3631006c7497bf9a1e6.jpg2.jpg.bcbeebb7f431973ebe21bf3d1ec6c3c5.jpg3.thumb.jpg.238d7e2a4bbb88cacfca9eb57547a880.jpg Coosa spot, lake lanier spot or a NorCal spot could blow this one out of the water.

Doesn't count you said you snagged it!

I'm just kidding I'm assuming you didn't snag it.

Nice fish and all, but tell me more about this rod setup on your yak.

Wow, you guys have caught some nice fish.  I used to live beside Rodman reservoir and Rodman is known for big bass.  I have busted 9 several times, but can't seem to get over the 10# mark.  Largest I have ever seen is 14.3,  I can't even imagine the fish that WRB caught.  I would have to quit fishing after that.

Thought i would revive this old thread. Here is a 3.88 lake hartwell spotted bass from a couple years back. I have several over 4 and one 5.02 from Lanier and Keowee. I just cant find any pics of those to post. Going to Burton next weekend. Goal is to catch another 5lber!

Big Spotted bass, 8.2 lbs should be noted for a BR member. What lake did you catch your spotted bass? The 1st California giant Spotted bass was from SoCal lake Perris, followed by Central California lake Pine Flat and NorCal lake Bullards Bar.

Alabama or Southern Spotted bass are not a new species! It's like comparing Northern strain LMB to Florida strain that grow nearly 50% heavier, different species that someday will have seperate record status.

It's my new life goal to set the Vermont state record for largest smallmouth, which would put me close to the boards record if it's not broken. Someday...

I am confident I have absolutely no shot at the heaviest bass on the board. And so I want to submit my entry for the lightest bass. Unfortunately I didn’t have a gram scale with me when this fine specimen inhaled my Splash-it. And the funny thing is as I type this I still can’t believe it got all three hooks inside it’s mouth....

That’s what I call determination!

That looks like a 10lb splash it to me! Largest lures get the largest fish!

14lbs 3oz on a guided tour in Disney World. Trolling with a live shiner. In the waters of what was the Disney Institute, which I think is now the Disney Springs area by the red X. Before Disney Springs was there in September 2001. There is no picture of the fish. But there was a scale on the boat.

Sorry to hurt anyone's feelings on this thread, but my nephew who is 3 and half years old and hopeful future board member has outdone all of us.

He called to inform me he caught his first bass the other day. I asked him how he knew it was a bass and said it was green, white, had a really big mouth and had black spots on it. It was also 3 feet long....

That has to be the record or he has already mastered the art of telling larger then life fishing tales ?
