Probly my favourite jerkbait made.Whats your feedback/success with em?

I had never even heard of Smithwick until a month ago - when a guy in my tournament won that event with a Devil's Horse.  I went home and researched it and found Smithwick manufactured them.

Since then - the name Devils Horse or Smithwick keeps coming up - I think it's a sign...

I might place an order...

Smithwick makes a drove of lures, but two of my favorites

made by them is the Devil's Horse and Rattlin Rogue.

Yep, Devil's Horse and Rattlin Rogue!

As it happens, my first bass of the year came a couple weeks ago (I don't get to fish much until May) on a clown-colored Suspending Rattlin' Rogue, in 37 degree water.

The Rogue was the first jerkbait I started tossing, maybe 2 decades ago? Then I moved up to the Husky Jerks, Pointers and my current favorite, the X-Rap. Probably more jerkbait manufactures today than most other lure styles. They all produce. Sort of like the drop shot.....never leave home without 'em. :)

I think I have 4  of the original Smithwick Deep Suspending Rogues left.

They are pretty special baits IMO.

Mine are All the same color /  pattern -

Smithwick was a family owned business that made wooden and plastic bass lures, now owned by Pradco. Water Gators a early lipless, Pa, Ma Scooters and Buck N Brawl top waters, Devils horse stick baits and Roges. They are all collecting dust in my vintage lure collection today.

Rogue perfect 10 is my go to

It's becoming mine. I don't know what the difference is in action, or whatever. I just know it's been out producing my old Rogues

I love my Rattlin' Rogues and I have more than 30 of them in both floating and suspending models.

Rogues have been quality fish catchers for me over the years. The perfect tens are very productive too.

One of my top 10 jerkbaits  in my collection period.

I have a box full of their jerkbaits. been using them for many years.  never had a need to buy any others. I need someone to prove that those 20.00 jerkbaits will out fish the Smithwicks.
