Super User Darren. Posted March 22, 2017 Super User Posted March 22, 2017 Wow. Got tackle order coming in today via UPS, I sure hope it's the right stuff. And I'm doing my own taxes...ugh. Don't own a boat, so no motor issues... Oh, and Roto Rooter not scheduled for at least 2 more years. Phew. Quote
Super User Redlinerobert Posted March 23, 2017 Super User Posted March 23, 2017 My wife is an accountant so taxes are covered. Boat is still in storage due to too much work. My doctor better buy me dinner before my first colonoscopy. 2 Quote

Super User K_Mac Posted March 23, 2017 Super User Posted March 23, 2017 Redline he will not buy you dinner, and you will pay him good money for the privilege! Catch 22 glad you survived the week. Some are better than others... Quote
Super User slonezp Posted March 23, 2017 Super User Posted March 23, 2017 Had my fair share of boat expenses the last few months, I can sympathize Dad, sister, and son are all accountants. so that's all taken care of I could probably get a wrong shipment of tackle and never even notice it was wrong 2 Quote
Super User Gundog Posted March 23, 2017 Super User Posted March 23, 2017 Colonoscopy prep is tough but the real tough part is when they find a polyp and you have to wait 2 weeks for the results of the sample. Thankfully, for me, the results were that the polyps were benign as most are. But its always good to get the procedure done. Its worth the stress to make sure. Quote
Global Moderator Bluebasser86 Posted April 1, 2017 Global Moderator Posted April 1, 2017 Both my boys (3 and 3 months), my wife, and I are all sick and have been for a few weeks now. The stuff nobody wants to do when they're sick (house keeping, laundry, dishes, grocery shopping), can't be put off any longer on top of still having to take care of 2 sick and fussy young boys. The stress of dealing with it and just wanting everyone to get better is getting to my wife and I big time. Nothing much worse than your kids being sick. Quote

You'll be lucky if the doc has the decency to pipe in some mood music, though they do dim down the lights. Now, if you really want something that might give you pause. If you ever need an endoscopy where they can examine your throat and stomach, make sure that they don't use the colonoscopy tube by mistake. 2 Quote

frosty Posted April 3, 2017 Posted April 3, 2017 I had to have the probing at the ripe old age of 26 due to an infection in my prostate. The doctor referred me to a specialist to make sure it wasn't prostate cancer. The new doctor basically told me I was way to young for prostate cancer but insisted on checking I felt a little violated after that... Quote
