long before solunar tables, temperature guages, depth finders, and even daylight savings time, these little guys told our grandfathers and their grandfathers it was time to go fishing.  when they talk, i listen.

Great looking fish! The bottom one is beautiful! What was the weights on them?

Listening to the "peepers" chirp at the moment. I always heard "When the dogwoods are in bloom, the bass are on their beds."

Wow! I gotta move to Tennessee! Very nice outing. Those frogs must have been yelling at you to go fishing.

thanks guys.  last 2 pix are of the same fish.  8-5 was the weight.  smaller bass weighed 5-5.

Great looking fish! Must have been something going on this weekend. There was a new lake record and near state record caught at the lake near me this weekend and a giant over 9 caught at an Ozark lake yesterday as well.
