Teminal tackle organization

Decided to finally organize my terminal tackle.I used a BPS 360 box and used a Zerust divider on every other slot.I wrote hook size and weights on small pieces of cardboard to keep everything identified.I was tired of the mess and digging around to find a hook I needed.How do you guys keep your bits and pieces in line?

Looks good! I've personally decided to keep my hooks in their packages to avoid labeling the compartments.

This is I guess my main terminal tackle box Plano 3701 I think. I prefered the more shallow box to get my small stuff out easier. It didn't do great until I gorilla glued the dividers in and gorilla glued the mat stuff to the lid. It keeps the compartments from having hooks slip over into adjacent containers. I keep a few of the dry bags in compartments with stuff I don't use often.

 

I have to say its nice as my fishing partner can find basic stuff pretty easy compared to before when I said they are in the bag start checking pockets. 

 

I also have a smaller Plano box that has only my flippin/pitchin terminal tackle in it. And I still have packages of snaps for crankbaits and all kinds of hooks and weights etc in their packages in pockets on my bags.

After a few years of not changing the layout of my term tackle box, I finally wrote in black sharpie and in metallic silver sharpie on the lid over the compartment - hook sizes and weight sizes, etc.  That way it's easily visible day or night.

I use the Plano fixed compartment to store some terminal tackle at home because the adjustable dividers always seem to allow some terminal tackle to find it's way into other compartments.  When fishing though I like to keep tackle in individual small zip lock bags (I save these from tackle purchases) because it's easier to find for me.  In  particular I like to keep hooks in original packaging, I think loose hooks that are always moving around in a compartment might cause dulling over time.

Plano 4600 2 tier box works good for both hook storage and sinker storage, fits into a small tackle bag for use in other folks boats or handy for my boat use. I organized 1box for hooks, finesse hooks on the upper tray, standard hooks in the lower tray. I use the original hook paper with number and size as a compartment liner, easy to read. The weights are in another 4600 box, Fineese on top, like drop shot, nail, mojo style and bullet or heavier weight in the lower tray. So far it's working good.

I finally gave in and got the Bass Mafia box, not cheap but does a great job keeping things in place

I'm jealous of all you guy's organizational skills. I

have a 3700 with just hooks separated mostly by size and to a lesser extent by type (although I have no idea what technical size they are), one smaller box with t rig and c rig weights, and another box with drop shot weights and hooks as well as all my shakey heads. None of it labeled. I just match the hook to the bait and conditions and the weight to how I want to present it.

 

I keep telling myself I'm gonna label them but I keep not doing it. I put the label from the packages in once but hooked the cardboard jerking a hook out of the box scattering all the other hooks from that compartment and that was that with that. There are certain things I'm able to be organized with, terminal

tackle isn't one of them.

I use these... Keeps hooks and weighs separate, and has different compartments for shakey heads, weight pegs, rattles, beads, and other misc terminal tackle. Works well for me. The only drawback is that its pretty loud when everything moves back and forth when its in my backpack while I'm walking the banks.

This is the main box, I also have a small little 6 compartment box for short trips or bank fishing.
