What is a good one to buy? I did see a add,buy one and get 4 free, sounds too good to be true?

If your referring to SA buffs then it is legit. I got the 5 pack from them. I don't have anything to compare them too but they work well

I have one of the under armour ones and it is super comfortable, as well as keeps the sun off my neck, so it checks all the boxes for me.

I used to wear a 'Simms SunGaiter'.

When it wasn't needed, I just pulled it down below my chin so it was only on my neck.

When you combine a sun gaiter with sunglasses and a wide-brimmed hat,

you've got excellent ultraviolet protection.

Yes, the Salt Armor buy one get four is a real deal. Good company, large selection of designs, fast shipping. The buff itself is comfortable and does what it's made to do. Only complaint I have is that the sticker they said was included didn't come in either of my two order, haha

I got some of the SA ones last summer. Wide selection, they have held up pretty good and the shipping was quick. I wouldnt pay full price for them, but buy one get 4 free is a pretty good deal. The only issue I have is they are a little on the small side....or I have a head a little on the large side.

They all do their job just fine. I always wore Simms and BUFF, but since I have found those SA buffs, I haven't bought any others. The SA buffs work just fine, and they are super cheap.

Just clicked on the add and used the promo code on add, got five coming for $20. S&H included.

Can't beat that price!! That is why I wanted to get some input from the experts that have used them. And this buy one get 4 free was not a scam! So thanks for the input!

I wear a KastKing gaiter. Got it free when I bought a KastKing reel through Amazon. They sent an offer to leave a review on Amazon about the product I bought. Once it's posted they check to see if it was a verified purchase, KastKing will then send an item of your choice under $10

Looks great and works great. Lightweight, SPF 50 stretch material.

I have one from Huk, cabelas, and Columbia. I like my Huk one the best.

Simms isn't the cheapest but it is the best.  The ventilation holes at the nose help to keep glasses from fogging.  You can button up so that there is no sun getting to you and without fogging.   They are form fitted with a tail off the back for neck protection.  I've used  a lot of the "plain tubular" ones and they just do not compare.

I got the Buff, Cabelas' Guidewear and SA.

Cabalas Guidewear/SA get my vote. The SA that I alwasy wear has the Califorina Flag on it.

I have the "Rebel" but I refuse to wear in this town since everyone is so "ISM" lately.

simms is the best out of the 3 I have tried. The other two being the Salt Armour and the other being the gillz.

I have had the SA ones for over a year now from one of their specials.  I have washed a couple several times and they are still usable.  I handed out a few to my fellow Club Members and they seem happy with them.  I still have a couple new ones and I will probably order a few more as time goes on.  I put mine on up over my ears and nose which also covers my neck.  I wear a Vietnam Bush Hat and sunglasses.

I have had three spots removed from my face that were skin cancer.  I will do anything to keep that from happening again.

Why do you need 5 buffs for???

Id rather spend 20 bucks on a quality buff.

But a buff is one of the best fishing apparel purchases ive ever made

I have an Original Buff that I mostly use but it's in it's 4th season now and starting to get beat up.  I got an Original Buff XL to replace it but it's not too much bigger than the original size, but any bit helps so I don't feel like I'm getting stranged.

You also might want to look into the Original Buff UV Masks because instead of being a typical straight tube, it's shaped to fit over your neck/shoulders which are usually a problem with a traditional buff that tends to clump up and expose your neck/shoulders.

I have a few of the SA ones and one actually Buff branded one.  I really cant stand any of them for more than maybe half an hour.  I ended up getting a longsleeve/hooded sun shirt from Cabalea's that I like a ton more.  If I wear a ball cap I can stretch the hood over the brim and it keeps my entire face shielded from the sun.  On extremely bright days I will keep the buff around my neck to protect my lower throat but usually the hood and cap takes care of me.

I do like the SA buffs for stashing in my assorted hiking packs and in my car for days when I forget my sun shirt or for a little warmth in the spring and fall.

I bought ten from SA. All different goofy faces. I like "em. They do what they supposed to do. If they had venting for the mouth and nose area, they would be perfect.

as an added bonus, I scared the crap out of my youngest grandson with one. It was priceless.
