nhpleasantlakebass Posted March 13, 2017 Posted March 13, 2017 So watched some videos on this thing it's different... the transformer of fishing I guess .. at 80$ it's a bit pricey but compared to the high end swimbaits it's in the lower end. What are y'all opinions? Quote
Super User Oregon Native Posted March 13, 2017 Super User Posted March 13, 2017 If fish are going to start biting only $80 and above lures I guess I'm going to get better at golf!!! Just plain out of my league. 10 Quote
jr231 Posted March 13, 2017 Posted March 13, 2017 Over 600 lures in one ? How can a company make such ridiculous claims.? It's not even 60 lures in one and probably not even 6. That's ridiculous and i wouldn't even consider buying a bait from a sales pitch like that. 8 Quote
Global Moderator Bluebasser86 Posted March 13, 2017 Global Moderator Posted March 13, 2017 The price tag doesn't bother me, the obvious fact that it's complete bull that it's "600 lures in one", eliminates any chance I'd buy it. 3 Quote
Super User Scott F Posted March 13, 2017 Super User Posted March 13, 2017 Apparently, the bait comes with different diving lips, different tails and multiple spinner blades to give you 600 combinations. That is an unusual concept, but at $80 it's not for me either. 2 Quote
BassResource.com Administrator Glenn Posted March 13, 2017 BassResource.com Administrator Posted March 13, 2017 I can buy a lot more lures than just one for $80. 5 Quote

Super User MassYak85 Posted March 13, 2017 Super User Posted March 13, 2017 Looks like the "600 lures in one" claim is just another way of them saying there are 600 combinations you can make from this mess of parts. Lol...a buzzbait blade? Really? 6 Quote
Super User Paul Roberts Posted March 13, 2017 Super User Posted March 13, 2017 The first photo shows something really cheaply made. Such money is generally paid for R&D, execution, and top-notch finishes. That last photo... shows the complete opposite of R&D, execution, fit and finish. That's what's called the "worst of all worlds". I strongly suggest you put your money elsewhere. Quote
Super User J Francho Posted March 13, 2017 Super User Posted March 13, 2017 Looks like junk. There are WAY better swimbaits for $80. 1 Quote
OCdockskipper Posted March 13, 2017 Posted March 13, 2017 "600 lures in 1" reminds me of the phrase "jack of all trades, master of none". What good are 600 lures if none of them catch fish? Heck, they spent so much time designing extra tails & spinnerbait blades for it, they forgot to add hooks. Then again, they never claimed that it will actually catch a fish, so they are being honest. The second photo of that bait reminds me of those tools sold on infomercials that claim to be "50 tools in 1". The claim is correct, except they are 50 lousy tools in one, none of which help you get the job done. Other than that, it looks to be a good buy... 1 Quote
Super User Darren. Posted March 13, 2017 Super User Posted March 13, 2017 Way outta my league for a lure And by the looks of it, even if it were in my league, I'd not pull the trigger and buy it. If it doesn't catch me, it won't catch fish! LOL. 1 Quote

Super User K_Mac Posted March 14, 2017 Super User Posted March 14, 2017 For folks who fish swimbaits, especially bigger ones, $80 is not a lot of money...for a quality bait. This is clearly not a quality bait. For those who have to have this bait, wait a bit and you will soon be able to buy it from the budget table at Walmart. I'm guessing for about $6. 1 Quote
CTBassin860 Posted March 14, 2017 Posted March 14, 2017 Thats how its 600 lures in one. There are 575 BBs.Every BB you add its makes it a different lure! 8 Quote
Will Wetline Posted March 14, 2017 Posted March 14, 2017 Wait a minute now, fellas . . . Us old timers remember how Fishing Facts magazine used to remind us that there's no "magic" lure . . . they may be wrong. Ha! 3 Quote
Super User RoLo Posted March 14, 2017 Super User Posted March 14, 2017 WELL, when you do the math that's only 13 cents a lure But you've got to pity the guy who springs for $80, then loses the lure on his first cast!! It suddenly occurs to him that there won't be another 599 lures, that he lost all 600 in 1 cast Roger 5 Quote

sprint61 Posted March 14, 2017 Posted March 14, 2017 That bait is a smack in the face to true swimbaits. Quote
