Hi,

I know nothing about fishing.  I found a bag of lures that were my grandpa's.  There are 19 different lures.  He used to fish in Ohio on Lake Eerie.  My dad had them, now I have them.  Are they worth anything?  I don't fish often and would like to give them to someone who could make use of them!  I posted some pictures at the following link - had to post them on another forum - pics were too big to post here

Thank you!

Best Regards,

Calvin

Lures like that start to be worth something if you have the orginal box and they are in near perfect condition.  The third pic of the popper is still a good lure to use and the 5th pic i would still use but i dont think there hidden gems other than the family history value

The wooden lures 1 with 5 treble hooks and the reverse running lure are both good finds and could be worth $$ depending on who is collecting those may need those colors.

The first one and the second one are definitely collectables. Probably worth some $$ if you post them on Craig's or eBays. But ask for at least $50.00 - $75.00 ea. for starters. Negotiate from there. They may even be worth more than that. If you had their original boxes, they'd be worth a lot more for sure.

Join a lure collectors forum . Post the lures and ask for appraisals . You will probably get offers . I did that with an old bicycle and got 400 dollars .
