That side plate looks like a dirt trap.

I've had mine for about 8 months now, it doesn't collect dirt like you think.

What are the differences between the New Steez A TW and the Steez SV TW besides the spool?

Weight, the amount of bearings. 5.6oz compared to 6.7oz. And 9 bearings for the Steez A TW, the Steez SV TW has 13.

Thanks.  I'm assuming the SV spool is more desireable?

Frame material, spool, handle/knobs.

What do you not like about it? The way the brake dial is fixed? I love the easy open switch opposed to the brake dial screw. Much better than the T3 push button deal.

I just dont like the look.  There are a lot of very good looking reels out there and the open look to the side plate does nothing for me.  To be fair i like the oldest version look the best, the ex did nothing for me and this version looks the worst.  Some people might really dig the look so i dont hate on others that do.

As far as I'm concerned the only reason to get the A over the standard Steez would be if you wanted to use it in saltwater. I plan on getting a t-wing Steez at some point and it will 100% not be the A.

What are the thoughts on the Alu Steez at this point? I am considering one but would like to know what owners think of it.

Thanks!
