ECP1989 Posted March 8, 2017 Posted March 8, 2017 What hooks would you recommend for 7" Senkos? Quote
Super User roadwarrior Posted March 8, 2017 Super User Posted March 8, 2017 5/0 Gamakatsu Offset Round Bend http://www.gamakatsu.com/fishing-hooks.php?pid=1164 Quote

Super User J Francho Posted March 8, 2017 Super User Posted March 8, 2017 For wacky, Gamakatsu Finesse Wide Gap 3/0 Quote
bma3 Posted March 8, 2017 Posted March 8, 2017 I would use either a 4/0 or 5/0 offset round bend or EWG (extra wide gap). Quote
Super User Crestliner2008 Posted March 9, 2017 Super User Posted March 9, 2017 How about the original Senko hooks for the 7" Senko. Not the greatest hook ever made, but they'll do if you make sure to sharpen them. Edit: Sorry, the hooks I was referring to were for the 9" Sluggo, not the 7" Senko. Quote
BassThumb Posted March 9, 2017 Posted March 9, 2017 Gamakatsu 5/0 EWG Monster hooks. They have a longer shank up by the line-tie and work great for longer soft plastics. Fewer plastics get ripped up near the nose because of the different design. Quote

I use these on all big plastics and stick baits that don't have a salt core. Great hooks. Quote
