He said Bill was a good friend of his. I also asked him if fishing MLF was as fun for him as it was for us to watch it. He said it was stressful, but definitely suited his style of fishing. 1 Quote

Best part for me has been meeting some of my fishing heros, no doubt. Met Rick Clunn, Edwin Evers & Timmy Horton on other occasions. 2 Quote
Global Moderator Bluebasser86 Posted March 5, 2017 Global Moderator Posted March 5, 2017 I got to meet KVD by chance once at Table Rock while my wife and I were there on vacation. Nice enough to talk to me for a few minutes and take a picture with my wife and I as well as sign a hat. Very cool experience. 3 Quote

In other sports you have to pay money, wait in line, kiss some youknowwhat just to get an autograph. I attended 2 elite series tournaments and afterwards the anglers gladly hung around and signed anything anybody wanted. It reminded me of what Nascar use to be like in the late 70's early 80's. Before all the big corporate money started rolling in. I'm not a person who collects or wants autographs but it was great to see Greg Hackney and Jacob Powroznik stop what they were doing to give a kid no more than 10 yrs old an autograph. 1 Quote
