Anybody know a site where they sell reasonably priced travel cover for a Stratos?

You'd probably have to get one made, unless you find a universal fit one at Bass Pro or something that works.  Aurora covers make the absolute BEST covers that you can leave on while trailering at highway speeds.  They aren't cheap.

It seems like you get what you pay for with covers. If you have amish in your area that have any sort of upholstery business I'd look into what they can do. At least around here they have a reputation of doing great work for not a lot of money. Otherwise I'd give Stratos a call as they can probably provide a custom cover for your boat.

Covering your new rig is no doubt important and a cover for it may not be one of the items where 'a thrifty' purchase would serve you very well.

So go ahead, 'bite the bullet' one more time and secure a properly fitted model made from quality material that will actually meet or perhaps even exceed your expectations.

Want to read horror stories?  Just ask the question about towing with a cheap cover.  There's a world of difference between towing with a cheap cover and using one for storage.  I have the high dollar Ranger Factory towable ratchet equipped cover for my Z21 and I still won't tow with it on.

Canvas Craft makes some nice custom covers up here in Minnesota.  My parents have taken theirs in 3 times now over the years because they keep adding items or replacing items that are different size, so the cover size needs to be adjusted.

Those are nice covers, and I would need a quality one also because it will be sitting in my driveway for a while, and its cheaper than paying for storage. Do you have to buy the straps separate? This cover will be used for storage and travel. can you travel with the post installed?

Not sure what "reasonable" means but you can get OEM and custom covers here http://www.dufort.mb.ca/component/content/article/1-dufort-article/1-home

Can't see prices. I guess I would have to Email them.

The Motor & Talon covers are made by http://www.tuffskinz.net/ and are designed to be used for storage, travel and can & are left on during use.

The boat cover is the one that comes as an accessory option with the new boat.  Also for storage & travel .  Boat's kept in a garage.  I only use the cover for long time (winter)  storage but definitely use it for travel.

So your boat cover didn't come from boatcovers.com.

No but it looks like they have a few options for your boat.

That's why I posted the link.
